Our Mission

The purpose and mission of the Rays of Hope Charter School is to provide a highly focused fundamental education to at-risk students in the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades for the Seminole County area.  This education will be accomplished in a study-oriented environment stressing excellence in academic, cultural, social and interpersonal relationships.

The Subjects

The Curriculum

The academic core, which is driven by modified Sunshine State Standards, is tailored to accommodate an at-risk student population.  Although the skills and concepts are listed in separate subject areas, they are integrated through  the school using a variety of methods and technologies and not taught in isolation.  Many concepts and skills are taught, expanded and reinforced from one grade to the next as well as across grade levels.
